Sustainability
Grand Teton Association strives to incorporate sustainability into everything we do, by choosing retail partners who share our same values, products that educate and amplify sustainability messages, and organizational operations that tread lightly on the land. As an organization committed to supporting public lands, Grand Teton Association is committed to implementing sustainable practices that minimize impact on the environment and help protect natural resources.
In 2024, Grand Teton Association achieved Business Emerald Sustainability Tier (BEST) certification. The standards in the BEST program are designed to create systems change and consider improvements and cost savings in energy, waste, emissions, transportation, and more while protecting our ecosystem and community that are essential to thriving businesses and organizations. GTA joins a growing group of forward-thinking leaders to achieve this third-party sustainability certification.
GTA will use 2024 as the baseline for setting sustainable practices, standards, goals and metrics in order to gauge its effectiveness and progress from year to year. With the guidance and support of the Riverwind Foundation, Grand Teton Association has developed an annual Sustainability Management Plan that will guide annual operations and decision making with agency partners.
